  托福写作中,言语的多样、多变是得分的一个重要的点。那么在用词和用句上,我们就都要注意,在确保正确的基础上丰厚我们的表达。写作的时候能够多预备一些替换词,让我们用多个词汇表达一类意思,以丰厚我们的文章。

  一、褒义形容词

  1.1 表达 “重要的”important

  (1)vital ['va?t(?)l]:必不可少的;对…极重要的;生命的;保持生命所必需的

  It is no doubt that the education of the youth is vital to a country.

  清楚明了,青年人的教育关于一个国家的未来是至关重要的。

  (2)crucial ['kru??(?)l]:至关重要的;关键性的

  The requirement upon listening skill has always been a crucial part of English acquisition.

  听力技术的要求一直是英语习得的重要一环。

  (3) prominent ['pr?m?n?nt]:重要的;出名的;出色的;显眼的

  Archimedes had a very prominent saying: give me a fulcrum and I can pry up the whole earth.

  (4)cardinal ['kɑ?d(?)n(?)l]: 最重要的,最基本的;n. 基数;枢机主教;纯数;红衣凤头鸟(见于北美,雄鸟为鲜红色)

  Every one suspects himself of at least one of the cardinal virtues.

  1.2 优异的 good

  (1)excellent ['eks(?)l(?)nt]:优异的;出色的;极好的;(用以表明愉快或附和)好极了

  It takes years of hard work to be an excellent interpreter.

  1.3 风趣的 interesting

  (2) entertaining [ent?'te?n??]:风趣的;文娱的;使人愉快的

  The children staged an entertaining puppet show.

  His engaging personality made him popular with his peers.

  1.4 有生机的 energetic

  (1) dynamic [da?'n?m?k]:充溢生机的;活泼的;精力充沛的;不断改变的

  Mr. Mason was quite alive now, interrogative, dynamic and a bit dictatorial in his manner, even to his old friend.

  (2) noticeable ['n??t?s?b(?)l]:值得注意的;显着的;清楚明了到

  There's been a noticeable improvement in her handwriting.

  It is notable that the business spa differs from its traditional counterpart in two main respects.

  二、中性形容词

  三、贬义形容词

  3.1 有害的 harmful

  Many chemicals have a damaging effect on the environment.

  (2) ruinous ['ru??n?s]:耗资巨大的;无法承担的;损坏性的;导致严峻问题的

  3.4 忧虑的 worried

  I'm anxious for her to do as little as possible.
